     What makes living in South central great is the fact of the history. That south central has a great history. That it has a bad name that was give to us by the people that made it wat it is today. Beside that the people and there back ground is what make south central LA great.I love the food that south central has. I like what my rase the lantin rase gives south centarl the food. We bring food from all central america. Then we have sould food here that came when blacks migrated here from the south. We here in south central have chinese fast food places. I love to live here because of all the great food. We have a history here we have shown that we are willing to fight for our rights.

To live in south central is great. i love to live here for many different reason. i can think of a lot of great thing of south central. there are the people. many news have made us look like we were criminals. in reality we are not like that gun shoot do not happen every while. there are many people with so many background. there background is a great thing that brings new thing to the community. there background brings us new food, clothes and make us think about how proud we are of our background. you can live here and know that you can be your self. the three most important events that have had the greatest impact on making south central, la what it is today are watts riots, crack epidemic, and gang history.

The first thing that change South central was the watts riots. The watts riots was a three day riot. The riot start when Marquette, his brother, and his mother were arrested. The people who were watching this start the riots. People who rioted did because they didnt have power have over there life and the bad school. That the being of the war world 2 the Japanese were taken out of south central. That the end of the riot the “white fight” happen, when the white people got scared and move out. The people moving at change south central. That is why will see the people still live here. The watts riot change who are the people who live in south central.

The second thing that change southe central was gangs. The gang history is big and this is what most people thing of us that we are just a city of gangs. The first gangs in south central were the white gang. The blacks and lation gangs from to fight the white gangs. That the time of the civil rights movement all gangs had stop. The people of the gangs join originations like the black panthers and the brown berets. The CIA did not like this and fought to brake them up. The origination was named ciontellpro. When the black panthers and the brown berets fall this was when the gangs like crips and blood from. This change south central by give it gangs. That with leader of the black panther south central coulod have change for the better but those good leaders were killed. They felt kid to defend on there own with out knowing what is right and wrong.    

The third thing that change south central was the crack epidemic. There was a war in nicaragua that the US gave weapons. The weapons were bought by the money that the US got from selling cark to south central. The US thought that they put to much money in nicaragua to let it change to a communist. The US congress did not want war; so the CIA was the one that sold the crack. The biggest crack dealer was Free Way Rick Ross. The crack led to higher crime rate. Than the US government step in by having a war on drugs. This were sticter laws against having crack. This led to a higher incarceration rate. This left  South central with a bad scare; it change how south central looks with homeless people, bars on houses, and it let the drugs. 

The three thing that i think change south central was the watts riot, gang history and the crack epidemic. First the watts riot change who lives here in south central. The second thing was the gang history that separated the blacks and browns. The last thing was the crack epidemic that led to how it looks like homeless people, and high crime rate. I thing that the tension is lowering on blacks and browns so that we can work together. I think that if we can work together we can clean up south central. That it will be clean blacks and browns work together. I think that we can show the wrold how much you try to set us up for failure that we can get up form it.

The way i did in this quarter was was good i think. I know that i did try my best all the time it might not look like i might have but i did. i know that i did everything so i did not miss anything. i think the best class is bio i have a 99% in that class. i dont think that i nam having any trouble with any class but Spanish is hard for me. i think the tes are hard for me in that class. i think that i will keep doing what iam doing. i think if i might work a little harder i will get a 3.8 gpa.
